Rage (also known as frenzy or fury) is intense, uncontrolled anger that is an increased stage of hostile response to a perceived egregious injury or injustice. Etymology Rage is from c. 1300, meaning "madness, insanity; fit of frenzy; rashness, foolhardiness, intense or violent emotion, anger, wrath; fierceness in battle; violence" (of storms, fire, etc.); from the Old French ''rage'' or ''raige'', meaning "spirit, passion, rage, fury, madness"; from 11th century Medieval Latin ''rabia''; from the Latin ''rabies'', meaning "madness, rage, fury," which is related to the Latin ''rabere'' "be mad, rave." There are many cognates. The Latin rabies, meaning "anger, fury", is akin to the Sanskrit "raag" (violence). ''Furious'' is the only studio album by American hip hop supergroup Soopa Villainz. It was released on August 16, 2005 via Psychopathic Records. Production was handled by Soopa Villainz themselves except for the song "Pussy", which was produced by Polar Bear. The album debuted at number 92 on the ''Billboard'' 200, number 42 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums and number 8 on the Top Internet Albums in the United States. The entire full-length is a concept album based upon a story of the 4 members coming from another planet to take over the world. ''To Survive'' is the second album by Joan as Police Woman. It was released on June 9, 2008, on CD, LP and digital download. The album was released by Reveal Records in the United Kingdom, by Cheap Lullaby in the United States, and by PIAS in Europe and the rest of the world. The album cover is a reference to Virginia Woolf; with the photography by Matt Mahurin. In 2009, it was awarded a silver certification from the Independent Music Companies Association, which indicated sales of at least 30,000 copies throughout Europe. Reception The album received generally favorable reviews, earning a metascore of 76 on Metacritic. It was an Editor's Pick in the July 2008 issue of '' Paste'', and ranked at #43 in '' Qs 50 Best Albums of the Year.
