Furi, Switzerland
Furi is a alpine hamlet in the Pennine Alps, located three kilometers south of Zermatt, Switzerland at an altitude of 1,687m. It is located on a relatively flat area of land between the Gornera and Zmuttbach rivers. Furi has been connected to Zermatt by cable car since the 1950s and is now also connected by a gondola lift. The largest lift junction in the area, cable cars and gondolas travel to Riffelberg, Schwarzsee, Trockener Steg and the Klein Matterhorn The Klein Matterhorn (sometimes translated as ''Little Matterhorn'') is a peak of the Pennine Alps, overlooking Zermatt in the Swiss canton of Valais. Pennine Alps
The Pennine Alps (german: Walliser Alpen, french: Alpes valaisannes, it, Alpi Pennine, la, Alpes Poeninae), also known as the Valais Alps, are a mountain range in the western part of the Alps. Zermatt () is a municipality in the district of Visp in the German-speaking section of the canton of Valais in Switzerland. Riffelberg Railway Station
Riffelberg is a railway station on the Gornergrat railway, a rack railway which links the resort of Zermatt with the summit of the Gornergrat. The station is situated west of the Gornergrat, in the Swiss municipality of Zermatt and canton of Valais, at an altitude of above mean sea level. Klein Matterhorn
The Klein Matterhorn (sometimes translated as ''Little Matterhorn'') is a peak of the Pennine Alps, overlooking Zermatt in the Swiss canton of Valais.
