Fur Act
The Fur Products Labeling Act (, 15 U.S.C. § 69), otherwise known as the Fur Act, is a United States act banning the misbranding of fur products and requiring a name guide for fur products, among other things. The act does not apply to fur gained from trapping or hunting Hunting is the human practice of seeking, pursuing, capturing, or killing wildlife or feral animals. The most common reasons for humans to hunt are to harvest food (i.e. meat) and useful animal products ( fur/ hide, bone/tusks, horn/antler, ... and does not apply to the face to face transactions between the customer and the seller, provided the seller trapped or hunted the animal the fur originated from, the location of sale is not the seller's own permanent business premises and that the income generated by sales is not the seller's primary income. Fur Clothing
Fur clothing is clothing made from the preserved skins of mammals. Fur is one of the oldest forms of clothing, and is thought to have been widely used by people for at least 120,000 years. The term 'fur' is often used to refer to a specific item of clothing such as a coat, wrap, or shawl made from the fur of animals.
