Fung Hon-chu
Fung Hon-chu, OBE, JP (; 27 January 1911 – 9 August 1994) was a Hong Kong businessman and chairman of the Li & Fung, a leading trading firm in Hong Kong. Fung was born in Canton in 1911 to Fung Pak-liu, the founder of the Li & Fung Limited. He joined the family business as manager and arrived in Hong Kong in 1935 and set up a branch there in 1937. He succeeded his father as the director of the Li & Fung in 1945. In 1975, he became the chairman of the Li & Fung. He was also president of the Hong Kong Cotton Merchants Association and member of the Federation of Hong Kong Industries. He became a chancellor of the Tung Wah Group of Hospitals in 1951 and became its chairman in 1953. He was also vice-chairman of the Hong Kong Football Association, chairman and president of the South China Athletic Association. Order Of The British Empire
The Most Excellent Order of the British Empire is a British order of chivalry, rewarding contributions to the arts and sciences, work with charitable and welfare organisations, and public service outside the civil service. It was established on 4 June 1917 by King George V and comprises five classes across both civil and military divisions, the most senior two of which make the recipient either a knight if male or dame if female. There is also the related British Empire Medal, whose recipients are affiliated with, but not members of, the order. Recommendations for appointments to the Order of the British Empire were originally made on the nomination of the United Kingdom, the self-governing Dominions of the Empire (later Commonwealth) and the Viceroy of India. Victor Fung
Victor Fung Kwok-king (; sometimes Victor K. Fung; born 1945, Hong Kong) is the Group Chairman of Li & Fung group of companies. Together with his brother William, he owns a controlling stake of 32% in the business, which was founded by his grandfather. He has held a number of public and other offices, including chairman of the Airport Authority Hong Kong, Hong Kong University Council and the Greater Pearl River Delta Business Council. Education Fung has Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in electrical engineering from MIT. William Fung
William Fung Kwok Lun OBE JP () (born 21 February 1949) is a Hong Kong billionaire businessman who is the group managing director of Li & Fung Group, one of the largest trading companies in Hong Kong. Early life Fung was born in 1949 in Hong Kong. He attended Princeton University in its class of 1970, majoring in electrical engineering. He subsequently earned an MBA from Harvard Business School in 1972. Fung is one of two sons of Fung Hon-chu, former head of Li & Fung, and grandson of Fung Pak Liu, founder of the family firm.
