Fulton-Randolph Market District
Fulton Market District is on the Near West Side of Chicago. In the 19th and 20th centuries, it served meat-packing, warehouse and industrial purposes, but has gentrified in the 21st century with corporate headquarters, tech industry, hotels, bars, restaurants, and retail. Randolph Street and Lake Street are the main East-West streets, and Halsted Street the major North-South artery. The district's name commemorates American inventor Robert Fulton and it is just across the expressway from the Fulton River District to the east. Granted Landmark District status by the City of Chicago in 2015, the district is around 74 acres in size. It is served by the CTA's Green and Pink Lines at the Morgan 'L' station, as well as several bus routes. It borders the Warehouse District to the east, and the West Loop to the west. La Dispute is an American post-hardcore band from Grand Rapids, Michigan, formed in 2004. The current lineup is vocalist Jordan Dreyer, drummer Brad Vander Lugt, guitarist Chad Morgan-Sterenberg, guitarist Corey Stroffolino and bass guitarist Adam Vass. The band released their debut album, ''Vancouver'', in 2006 on Friction Records and then temporarily signed to Forest Life records where they released ''Here, Hear.'' and ''Untitled 7"'' in May 2008. ''2400 Fulton Street'' is a compilation album of music from the San Francisco rock band Jefferson Airplane, originally released in 1987 as a double LP containing 25 tracks. The title is taken from the street address of a mansion the band bought in 1966 and used as a residence. It is located across the street from Golden Gate Park. The expanded CD release is titled "''2400 Fulton Street --- The CD Collection''", and contains 11 extra tracks including one that comprises their otherwise unavailable Levis radio commercials of 1967. At the time, Levi Strauss marketed a line of jeans that were bleached white by exposure to sea water. IND Fulton Street Line
The IND Fulton Street Line is a rapid transit line of the IND Division of the New York City Subway, running from the Cranberry Street Tunnel under the East River through all of central Brooklyn to a terminus in Ozone Park, Queens. The IND Rockaway Line branches from it just east of Rockaway Boulevard. The A train runs express during daytime hours and local at night on the underground portion of the line; it runs local on the elevated portion of the line at all times. The C train runs local on the underground portion of the line at all times except late nights. The line runs primarily along Fulton Street, Pitkin Avenue, and Liberty Avenue. IND Eighth Avenue Line
The IND Eighth Avenue Line is a rapid transit line in New York City, United States, and is part of the B Division of the New York City Subway. Opened in 1932, it was the first line of the Independent Subway System (IND), and the ''Eighth Avenue Subway'' name was also applied by New Yorkers to the entire IND system. The line runs from 207th Street in Inwood south to an interlocking south of High Street in Brooklyn Heights, including large sections under St. Nicholas Avenue, Central Park West, and Eighth Avenue. The entire length is underground, though the 207th Street Yard, which branches off near the north end, is on the surface. Flying junctions are provided with the IND Concourse Line, IND Sixth Avenue Line, and IND Queens Boulevard Line.
