''Full Speed Ahead'' is a 1936 British drama film directed by Lawrence Huntington and starring Paul Neville, Moira Lynd and Richard Norris. The film was made at Wembley Studios as a quota quickie for distribution by the Hollywood company Paramount Pictures.Chibnall p.288 It is also known by the alternative title ''Full Steam Ahead''. Synopsis A couple elope on a ship, only to discover that the dishonest captain plans to scuttle it for insurance purposes. Lawrence Huntington (1900–1968) was a UK, British film director, screenwriter and film producer, producer. Huntington was born in London on 9 March 1900, he directed more than thirty films following his debut feature ''After Many Years'' (1930). He later worked in television before his death in 1968. Frederick Walter James Peisley (6 December 1904 – 22 March 1975) was a British stage, film and television actor and theatre director whose career spanned five decades.
