Margaret Hannah Fulford
Margaret Hannah Fulford (June 14, 1904 – November 28, 1999) was an American bryologist who was active in identifying the flora of North and South America. Biography Fulford was born on June 14, 1904, in Cincinnati, Ohio. She subsequently attended the University of Cincinnati. She earned her BA in botany in 1926, BE in education in 1927, and returned for her MA in botany working under Emma Lucy Braun in 1928. She then attended Yale University to obtain her doctorate under Alexander William Evans, which she accomplished in 1935. Meanwhile, she worked at the University of Cincinnati as a botany instructor from 1927 to 1940. She became assistant professor in 1940, associate professor in 1946, professor in 1954, and professor emerita in 1974. She remained with the university until her death. Fulford Harbour
Fulford Harbour is a residential community on the southeast side of Salt Spring Island, British Columbia, located near the island's southern end. Fulford Harbour is the site of a BC Ferries terminal with regular ferry service to Swartz Bay, British Columbia, Swartz Bay on Vancouver Island. HMS Ganges (1821)
HMS ''Ganges'' was an 84-gun second-rate ship of the line of the Royal Navy, launched on 10 November 1821 at Bombay Dockyard, constructed from teak. She was the last sailing ship of the Navy to serve as a flagship, and was the second ship to bear the name. Admiralty orders of 4 June 1816 directed her to be built as a facsimile of HMS ''Canopus'' (the ex-French ship ''Franklin'', which had fought at the Battle of the Nile). Building began in May 1819, under the direction of master shipbuilder Jamsetjee Bomanjee Wadia. Robert Marshall Blount Fulford (born February 13, 1932) is a Canadian journalist, magazine editor, and essayist. He lives in Toronto, Ontario. Personal life Fulford was born in Ottawa, Ontario to Frances (Blount) Fulford and A. E. Fulford, a journalist and editor at Canadian Press. He grew up in The Beaches neighbourhood in Toronto and was a childhood friend of Glenn Gould. He is married to writer and producer Geraldine Sherman, with whom he has two daughters. James Fulford
James Fulford (1841 – 6 September 1922) was an Australian politician. He was born in Maitland, New South Wales, West Maitland and was educated locally before becoming a businessman. He was town clerk at West Maitland from 1867 and also worked for the ''Maitland Mercury'' in a business capacity. He was an alderman at West Maitland, serving twice as mayor, and was later mayor of Municipality of Dundas, Dundas for thirteen years and an alderman at Waverley, New South Wales, Waverley. In 1880 he was elected to the New South Wales Legislative Assembly for Electoral district of West Maitland, West Maitland, but he did not re-contest in 1882.
