Fukushima Firebonds
The Fukushima Firebonds () are a professional basketball team that compete in the second division of the Japanese B.League. History In May 2013 Fukushima Prefecture was announced as the successful bidder for an expansion franchise to enter the 2014-15 season of the bj-league. The league management included the region's recovery from the 2011 Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami and the long-term feasibility of the bidding company, Fukushima Sports Entertainment, as reasons for the successful bid. In June 2014, the team announced Hiroki Fujita as the inaugural head coach. As an expansion team, the Firebonds received the first pick in the 2014-15 rookie draft, selecting forward Shota Kanno, a Fukushima Prefecture native. Takumi Masuko was selected in the second round. Solomon Alabi
Solomon Makafan Alabi (born March 21, 1988) is a Nigerian former professional basketball player. He attended Florida State University where he helped them to a third-place finish in the ACC standings and a trip to the NCAA Tournament where they fell to Gonzaga in the first round. The 7-foot-1 Alabi was a two-time ACC All-Defensive team selection in both his freshman and sophomore years. He played soccer before taking up basketball at age 15. Early life Alabi grew up in Zaria, Kaduna state of Nigeria before moving to Clermont, Florida at the age of 17. He attended high school at Montverde Academy in Montverde, Florida where he was coached by Kevin Sutton. Aizu General Gymnasium

Nigel Spikes
Nigel Spikes (born October 18, 1989) is an American professional basketball player who plays for Rizing Zephyr Fukuoka of the Japanese B.League. He played college basketball for the Marshall Thundering Herd before playing professionally in Venezuela, Mexico, Canada, New Zealand and Japan. He has also played in the Florida Basketball Association and the NBA Development League. Spikes survived a heart attack in 2013. Evan Ravenel
Evan Ravenel (born November 24, 1989), nicknamed E, is an American professional basketball player for Altiri Chiba of the B3 League. College career He began his collegiate career at Boston College, and was transferred to the Ohio State Buckeyes. He helped the OSU advance to the NCAA Final Four as a college junior. Professional career Ravenel played for the Ryukyu Golden Kings of Okinawa in 2015-16. The team won that season's bj league championship title and Ravenel was awarded playoff MVP.
