Fuji Dream Airlines
is a Japanese regional airline headquartered in Shimizu-ku, Shizuoka, Shizuoka Prefecture. It operates a fleet of Embraer E-Jets with three main hubs at Shizuoka Airport, Nagoya Airfield and Kobe Airport. The airline commenced operations on July 23, 2009. History Prior to the airline's establishment, Suzuyo & Co., Ltd. signed a purchase agreement with Embraer on November 30, 2007 for two Embraer E170s for its startup airline, with a purchase right to acquire one additional aircraft. The contract value was estimated to be approximately US$87 million, if the purchase right was exercised. At that time, the yet-to-be-established airline was Embraer's second customer in Japan. is a 2nd-class airport in Higashine, Yamagata, Japan. The airport is north of the city of Yamagata. History Kamiyama Training Airfield was opened by the Imperial Japanese Navy in World War II. is an international airport located south-southeast of Chitose and Tomakomai, Hokkaidō, Japan, serving the Sapporo metropolitan area.
