Fugo Segawa
is a Japanese professional footballer who plays as a left-back for TSS Rovers in League1 British Columbia. Early life Beginning at age 12, Segawa played for SP Fute in his hometown of Ichikawa. At age 15, he left Japan to attend boarding school in England, where he also attended FAB Academy, an English National Sports Centre. He first attended Teikyo School London before switching to Queens' School, a secondary boarding school in nearby Hertfordshire. Playing career In 2016, Segawa played for Swedish Division 2 side Ånge IF. In 2017, Segawa played for Finnish Kakkonen side PEPO, making 22 appearances that season and scoring three goals. Kakkonen
Kakkonen or II divisioona is the third level in the league system of Finnish football and comprises 36 Finnish football teams. The II divisioona was introduced in 1973 and in the mid-1990s became known as the Kakkonen (Finnish for 'Number Two'; sv, Tvåan). Sakari Tukiainen finished the season 2014 as the top goal scorer and setting a new league record with 40 goals for the Kakkonen. 2023 League1 British Columbia Season
The 2023 League1 British Columbia season was the second season of play for League1 British Columbia, a pro-am league in the Canadian soccer league system. Eight clubs participated in both the men's and women's divisions. Format The regular season was contested by eight clubs and ran from April 29 to July 23, 2023. Each team played 14 games in a double round-robin format with seven games at home and seven on the road. The top four teams advanced to the playoffs with the Championship Final held on the BC Day long weekend. The men's and women's divisions used identical schedules with the two matches being played as double-headers on the same day. Men's division The teams played each other team twice (home and away) for a 14-game season, with the top four teams advancing to the playoffs. The 2022 League1 British Columbia season was the inaugural season of play for League1 British Columbia, a pro-am league in the Canadian soccer league system. The league is the highest level of soccer based in the Canadian province of British Columbia except for fully professional clubs in the Canadian Premier League and Major League Soccer. The 2018 Veikkausliiga was the 88th season of top-tier football in Finland. HJK were the defending champions. Fixtures for the 2018 season were announced on 17 January 2017. The season started on 7 April 2018 and ended on 27 October 2018. Teams JJK were relegated to Ykkönen after finishing at the bottom of the 2017 season. Their place was taken by Ykkönen champions TPS. A total of 36 teams contested the league divided into three groups, Lohko A (Group A), Lohko B (Group B) and Lohko C (Group C). 25 returning from the 2016 season, two relegated from Ykkönen and nine promoted from Kolmonen. The champion of each group and the best runner-up will qualify to promotion matches to decide which two teams get promoted to the Ykkönen. The bottom three teams in each group will qualify directly for relegation to Kolmonen. Each team will play a total of 22 matches, playing twice against each team of its group. The Canadian Premier League (CPL or CanPL; french: Première ligue canadienne, links=no) is a professional men's Association football, soccer league in Canada. At the top of the Canadian soccer league system, it is the country's primary national soccer league competition. The league consists of eight teams, from five of provinces and territories of Canada, Canada's ten provinces.
