Frédéric Mion
Frédéric Mion (born 30 August 1969) is a French civil servant, and former director of Sciences Po. Formerly, he was Secretary-General of Canal+. Biography Education Student at the lycée du Mas de Tesse in Montpellier, where he was awarded the French Baccalauréat, Mion went on to classes préparatoires at the Lycée Henri-IV, before integrating the École normale supérieure from which he graduated in 1988. Frédéric Mion then studied Public Affairs at Sciences Po, earning a Master's degree in 1992. Canal+
Canal+ (Canal Plus, , meaning 'Channel Plus'; sometimes abbreviated C+ or Canal) is a French premium television channel launched in 1984. It is 100% owned by the Groupe Canal+, which in turn is owned by Vivendi. The channel broadcasts several kinds of programming, mostly encrypted. Unencrypted programming can be viewed free of charge on Canal+ and on satellite on Canal+ Clair (Clear). The channel does not broadcast advertising, except when broadcasting on free-to-air slots. The ''classes préparatoires aux grandes écoles'' (CPGE) (English: Higher School Preparatory Classes), commonly called ''classes prépas'' or ''prépas'', are part of the French post-secondary education system. They consist of two years of study (extendable to three or exceptionally four years) which act as an intensive preparatory course (or cram school) with the main goal of training students for enrolment in one of the ''grandes écoles''. The workload is one of the highest in Europe(29 to 45 contact hours a week, with up to 10 hours of guided tutorials and oral exam sessions).
