Frédéric Guilbert
Frédéric Guilbert (; born 24 December 1994) is a French professional footballer who plays as a right-back for Ligue 1 club Strasbourg. A product of the Caen youth system, he has played mainly in France for AS Cherbourg, Bordeaux and Strasbourg, as well as a spell with English side Aston Villa. He has a single cap for the France U21 side. Club career Bordeaux Guilbert joined Bordeaux in 2014 from Cherbourg. He made his Ligue 1 debut on 5 April 2015 in a 2–1 home win against Lens replacing Thomas Touré after 79 minutes. SM Caen On 28 July 2017, Guilbert transferred to Caen after completing a loan spell during the 2016–17 season. Guilbert was known for being a proficient and hard tackler with an average of 3.1 clearances and 2.9 tackles per game respectively throughout his final season with the club. Valognes
Valognes () is a commune in the Manche department in Normandy in north-western France. Geography Valognes is situated in the Cotentin Peninsula, southeast of Cherbourg. Matthew Stuart Cash (born 7 August 1997) is a professional footballer who plays as a right-back for club Aston Villa and the Poland national team. Cash started his career at Wycombe Wanderers and later the FAB Academy before he signed his first professional contract with Nottingham Forest and established himself as a regular at right-back. He signed for Aston Villa in September 2020. Born in England, Cash has Polish grandparents on his mother's side. He received his Polish passport in October 2021, qualifying him to play for the Poland national team. He made his debut the following month, and represented the side at the 2022 FIFA World Cup. The 2017–18 Ligue 1 season, also known as Ligue 1 Conforama for sponsorship reasons, was the 80th season since its establishment. The season started on 4 August 2017 and ended on 19 May 2018. The 2015–16 Ligue 1 season was the 78th season of the Ligue de Football Professionnel first division since its establishment. It started on 7 August 2015 and concluded on 14 May 2016. The 2013–14 Championnat de France amateur was the 16th season since its establishment. FC Chambly-Thelle, SAS Épinal, Marseille Consolat and US Avranches were promoted. Teams There were eight teams promoted from Championnat de France amateur 2, while eighteen teams were relegated from the 2012–13 Championnat de France amateur. These teams were also joined by SAS Épinal, AS Cherbourg and US Quevilly from the 2012–13 Championnat National.
