''From the Entrails to the Dirt'' is a compilation album released by End All Life Productions, featuring songs by French black metal acts Malicious Secrets, Antaeus, Mütiilation and Deathspell Omega. The album was first released as a triple vinyl set, with each disc featuring a Malicious Secrets track on one side and another band's contribution on the B-side. Deathspell Omega's contribution, "Mass Grave Aesthetics", was re-released in 2008 as a standalone EP. Antaeus are a French black metal band. Biography Antaeus were formed in 1993 but were more of a side project and "like 'nothing special' at all" according to themselves.Hail Horror Jose''Antaeus'', accessed on 19 May 2013. Mütiilation was a French black metal project, traditionally known as a group, but later a solo project that consisted solely of its founder William "Meyhna'ch" Roussel who maintained activity under the name until its closing in 2017. Mütiilation has released six full-length albums and appeared on several EPs and compilations. Deathspell Omega is a French black metal band formed in 1998 in Poitiers. Their lyrical content deals primarily with Satanism on a metaphysical level – as the band has stated that "all other interpretations of Satan are intellectually invalid" – and other various theological topics.
