From Now On (Will Young Album)
''From Now On'' is the debut studio album by English recording artist Will Young. It was released by S Records on 7 October 2002, eight months after he won the first series of ''Pop Idol''. The singer worked with a variety of writers and producers on the album, including Absolute, Cathy Dennis, Julian Gallagher, Stephen Lipson, Mike Peden, and Richard Stannard as well as Swedish musicians such as Jörgen Elofsson, David Kreuger, and Per Magnusson. Young co-wrote five songs on ''From Now On'' which also features a cover version of The Beatles' song "The Long and Winding Road," a duet with fellow ''Pop Idol'' finalist Gareth Gates. The album debuted at number one on the UK Albums Chart, while peaking at number 11 eleven in Ireland and reaching the top thirty in Ireland and the Netherlands. Will Young
William Robert Young (born 20 January 1979) is a British singer-songwriter and actor who came to prominence after winning the 2002 Pop Idol (series 1), inaugural series of the ITV (TV network), ITV talent contest ''Pop Idol'', making him the first winner of the worldwide ''Idol series, Idol'' franchise. His double A-sided debut single "Anything Is Possible (Will Young song), Anything Is Possible" / "Evergreen (Westlife song)#Will Young version, Evergreen" was released two weeks after the show's finale and became the fastest-selling debut single in the UK. Young also came in fifth place in ''World Idol'' performing the single "Light My Fire" written by the band the Doors. Light My Fire
"Light My Fire" is a song by the American rock band the Doors. It was recorded in August 1966 and released in January 1967 on their eponymous debut album. Released as an edited single on April 24, 1967, it spent three weeks at number one on the ''Billboard'' Hot 100 chart (in July 29, August 5 and August 12, 1967), and one week on the ''Cash Box'' Top 100, nearly a year after its recording. Due to its erotic lyrics and innovative structure, the song has come to be regarded a synonymous with the 60s psychedelic and sexual revolutions. A year later, it re-entered the ''Billboard'' Hot 100 in 1968 following the success of José Feliciano's cover version of the song (which peaked at number three on the ''Billboard'' chart), peaking at number 87. Christopher Braide (born 1973) is an English songwriter, record producer and singer, formerly based in Malibu, Los Angeles, California, United States. Braide is known for being a pianist. First signed as a solo artist by David A. Stewart in the UK and Craig Kallman at Atlantic Records in the US, Braide relocated to Los Angeles to produce and write for artists including Sia, Lana Del Rey, Britney Spears, Nicki Minaj, Christina Aguilera, Selena Gomez, David Guetta, Halsey, Wrabel, Marc Almond, Beth Ditto, Yuna and Beyoncé. Westlife
Westlife is an Irish pop vocal group formed in Dublin, Ireland in 1998. The group currently consists of members Shane Filan, Mark Feehily, Kian Egan, and Nicky Byrne. Brian McFadden was a member, until he left in 2004. The group temporarily disbanded in 2012 after 14 years of success and later reunited in 2018. The group has released twelve studio albums: four as a five-piece and eight as a four-piece. They rose to fame with their debut international self-titled studio album, '' Westlife'' (1999).
