''From.9'' is the first special single album of the South Korean girl group, Fromis 9. The single album was released on October 10, 2018 by Off the Record Entertainment and distributed by Stone Music and Genie Music. The album's lead single is "Love Bomb". ''From.9'' marks the first comeback of the group with Jang Gyu-ri after her absence due to participating in ''Produce 48''. This single album also marks their first release under Off the Record after officially signed with them last September. Background and release On October 2, 2018, the group released teaser images for their comeback. The next day, through their official YouTube channel, they dropped a behind-the-scenes video of their preparations for their comeback as a 9-member group with Jang Gyu-ri's participation. The group is composed of eight members: Roh Ji-sun, Song Ha-young, Lee Sae-rom, Lee Chae-young, Lee Na-gyung, Park Ji-won, Lee Seo-yeon and Baek Ji-heon. Originally a nine-piece group, Jang Gyu-ri departed the group on July 31, 2022. ''Fun Factory'' is the second single album by South Korean girl group Fromis 9. The album was released on June 4, 2019 by Off the Record and distributed by Stone Music. The physical version of the single album is available in two versions: "Fun" and "Factory". Both of them consist of the same three songs, including the lead single "Fun!". Background and release On May 22, it was revealed that Fromis 9 would come back on June 4 with their first single album ''Fun Factory''. Concept images were released on May 23 and music video teasers featuring each of the members were released from May 24 to June 2. ''Produce 48'' () was the third season of the South Korean reality competition series '' Produce 101''. It was a large-scale project in which the public "produces" a girl group by voting for members out of a pool of 96 contestants from South Korea and Japan, as well as voting for the group's concept, name and debut single. The show was a collaboration between the Mnet series '' Produce 101'' and the J-pop idol group AKB48. The winning 12 contestants, with no nationality caps, as voted only by Korean viewers, would promote as a group for two years and six months. The program itself is primarily in Korean, however staff and trainer instructions were translated onsite by interpreters. Mayu Wakisaka
is a singer-songwriter, composer, and lyricist based in Tokyo, Japan. Mayu grew up in Osaka, Japan, and studied law at Kyoto University. In 2007, she quit law school to pursue her career as a singer-songwriter and moved to Los Angeles. While studying music at LA Music Academy, Mayu self-produced her first EP "Stars Won't Fall", from which "24 Hours" got featured in Sony Walkman as a preload song, attracting an international fanbase. The Circle Chart (), previously known as the Gaon Music Chart or the Gaon Chart (), tabulates the relative weekly popularity of songs and albums in South Korea. It is produced by the Korea Music Content Association and sponsored by South Korea's Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. Founded in 2010. History Gaon Chart was launched in February 2010 by the Korea Music Content Association, under the sponsorship of the South Korean Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, with the aim to create a domestic national chart similar to the ''Billboard'' charts of the United States and the Oricon charts of Japan. NU'EST (; short for New Establish Style Tempo) was a South Korean boy band formed and managed by Pledis Entertainment. The group consisted of five members: JR, Aron, Baekho, Minhyun and Ren. Kang Dong-ho (; born July 21, 1995), better known by the stage name Baekho (), is a South Korean singer, songwriter and television personality. He began his professional career in 2012 as a main vocalist of the South Korean boy group NU'EST. He is currently signed under Pledis Entertainment, debuting as a solo artist with the release of his first extended play ''Absolute Zero'' on October 12, 2022.
