Frogwares is a Ukrainian video game developer, video game development studio headquartered in Kyiv with subsidiary offices in Dublin, Ireland. The studio and its subsidiaries develop adventure games for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Microsoft Windows, Nintendo Switch as well as PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Nintendo DS, Nintendo 3DS, Wii, and mobile. Frogwares created the ''Sherlock Holmes (video game series), Adventures of Sherlock Holmes'' series, which sold around seven million copies worldwide. The studio released its first open world investigation video game, ''The Sinking City'', inspired by the works of H. P. Lovecraft, in 2019. Overview Each game in the series lets the player control Holmes or Dr. Watson from either a first-person or third-person perspective. ''80 Days'' is a video game developed by Frogwares released in 2005 for Windows, based on the 1873 Jules Verne novel '' Around the World in Eighty Days''. Gameplay The game is a typical adventure game. The player must collect objects and go to particular locations to reach the next objective. However, there are 3 limitations: Time, Money and Fatigue. The latter may be ignored using means of transport and can be restored by eating food. Plot Matthew Lavisheart is a proud gentleman and engineer. He makes a bet, showing that he took part at inventing the most important gadgets at the time by delivering the documents that approve this in maximum 80 days.
