Fritz Tornow
Fritz Tornow (27 July 1924 – late 1990s) was a ''Feldwebel'' in the German Army who served as Adolf Hitler's personal dog-handler. He was one of the last people to occupy the ''Führerbunker'' when the underground complex was captured by Soviet Red Army troops. Biography Tornow had the task of taking care of Hitler's beloved German shepherd Blondi, as well as her puppies, and Eva Braun's dogs. Additionally, Tornow had his own pet dachshund. During the last days of World War II, Tornow was one of the few remaining German personnel in the ''Führerbunker''. During the course of 29 April 1945, Hitler learned of the death of his ally, Benito Mussolini, who had been publicly executed by Italian partisans. Werner Haase
Werner Haase (2 August 1900 – 30 November 1950) was a professor of medicine and SS member during the Nazi era. He was one of Adolf Hitler's personal physicians. After the war ended, Haase was made a Soviet prisoner of war. He died while in captivity in 1950. Early life and education Haase was born in Köthen, in Anhalt. He graduated from secondary school in 1918. Haase then joined the 66th Infantry Regiment in World War I. After the war, he obtained his Doctor's degree in 1924 and then became a surgeon. Career Haase was a ship doctor beginning in 1927. He joined the Nazi Party in 1933. From 1934, forward, he served on the staff of the surgery clinic of Berlin University. Upon the recommendation of Karl Brandt, Haase began serving as Hitler's deputy personal physician. The Lubyanka ( rus, Лубянка, p=lʊˈbʲankə) is the popular name for the building which contains the headquarters of the FSB, and its affiliated prison, on Lubyanka Square in the Meshchansky District of Moscow, Russia. It is a large Neo-Baroque building with a facade of yellow brick designed by Alexander V. Ivanov in 1897 and augmented by Aleksey Shchusev from 1940 to 1947. It was previously the national headquarters of the KGB. Soviet hammer and sickles can be seen on the building's facade. Johannes Hentschel (10 May 1908 – 27 April 1982) was a master electro-mechanic for German dictator Adolf Hitler's apartments in the Old Chancellery. Erna Flegel
Erna Flegel (11 July 1911 – 16 February 2006) was a German nurse. In late April 1945 she worked at the emergency casualty station at the Reich Chancellery in Berlin, and was one of the final occupants of the '' Führerbunker'' before she was captured by the Red Army on 2 May 1945. Biography From January 1943 until the end of World War II, as well as during the Battle of Berlin, Flegel served as a nurse for Hitler's entourage.
