Fritz Egner
Fritz Egner (born 3 August 1949 in Munich) is a German broadcaster. After working for the AFN in the early 1970s, Egner joint the regional broadcaster Bayerischer Rundfunk in 1978, alongside his two friends and colleagues Thomas Gottschalk and Günther Jauch. He became well known to German television viewers when he hosted the entertainment game show ''Dingsda'' between 1985 and 1994. He also commentated for Germany at the 1990 Eurovision Song Contest, between 1995 and 2003 he hosted the ZDF show ''die Versteckte Kamera'', for Sat.1 viewers he hosted the shows ''WWW – Die Witzigsten Werbespots der Welt'', ''XXO – Fritz & Co'' and the German version of ''Tic-Tac-Dough''. Currently he hosts the radio shows ''Fritz und Hits'' and ''Stars und Hits'' for Bayern 3 Bayern 3 is a public radio station owned and operated by the Bayerischer Rundfunk (BR), the public broadcaster in the German state of Bavaria. Tic-Tac-Dough
''Tic-Tac-Dough'' is an American television game show based on the paper-and-pencil game of tic-tac-toe. Contestants answer questions in various categories to put up their respective symbol, ''X'' or ''O'', on the board. Three versions were produced: the initial 1956–59 run on NBC, a 1978–86 run initially on CBS and then in syndication, and a syndicated run in 1990. The show was produced by Barry & Enright Productions. Jack Barry, the co-producer, was the original host of the 1950s version, followed by Gene Rayburn and then Bill Wendell, with Jay Jackson and Win Elliot hosting prime time adaptations as well. Wink Martindale hosted the network and syndicated version beginning in 1978, but left the program to host and co-produce ''Headline Chasers'' and was replaced by Jim Caldwell who hosted during the 1985–86 season. Bayerischer Rundfunk (BR; "Bavarian Broadcasting") is a public-service radio and television broadcaster, based in Munich, capital city of the Free State of Bavaria in Germany. BR is a member organization of the ARD consortium of public broadcasters in Germany. History Bayerischer Rundfunk was founded in Munich in 1922 as Deutsche Stunde in Bayern. It aired its first program on 30 March 1924. The first broadcasts consisted mainly of time announcements, news, weather and stock market reports, and music. 1990 Eurovision Song Contest
The Eurovision Song Contest 1990 was the 35th edition of the annual Eurovision Song Contest. It was held in Zagreb, SR Croatia, Yugoslavia, following the country's victory at the with the song " Rock Me" by Riva. It was the only time Yugoslavia hosted the contest. Organised by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) and host broadcasters Yugoslav Radio Television (JRT) and Radiotelevision Zagreb (RTZ), the contest was held at Vatroslav Lisinski Concert Hall on 5 May 1990 and was hosted by Croatian television presenters Helga Vlahović and Oliver Mlakar. It was the first Eurovision Song Contest held in the Balkans as well as the first and only contest held in a communist or socialist state. Günther Johannes Jauch (; born 13 July 1956) is a German television presenter, television producer, and journalist. Career Jauch is known for a unique style of informing and entertaining people that is generally considered witty and funny. He won several awards for his appearances in German television. Jauch also owns the production company "''i&u TV''", which stands for ''Information und Unterhaltung'' ("information and entertainment").
