Frits Bülow
Frits Toxwerdt von Bülow (April 16, 1872 in Aalborg – July 30, 1955 in Copenhagen) was a Danish politician and government minister. Frits Bülow was the son of Marie f. Toxwerdt and E.C. Bülow, town clerk and member of the noble family of Bülow. He graduated in 1894 and obtained a position working in a law office. In 1898, he graduated in law. In 1903 at the early age of 30, he was granted the right to plead cases before the Danish Supreme Court. He was a business lawyer and member of the Højre party, but made contact with members of the Venstre party while defending J.C. Christensen and Sigurd Berg against impeachment charges in the Alberti scandal. As result of these connections he was made Justice Minister in the government of Klaus Berntsen (1910–1913). Aalborg (, , ) is Denmark's fourth largest town (behind Copenhagen, Aarhus, and Odense) with a population of 119,862 (1 July 2022) in the town proper and an urban population of 143,598 (1 July 2022). Claus Von Bülow
Claus von Bülow (born Claus Cecil Borberg; 11 August 1926 – 25 May 2019) was a Danish-born British lawyer, consultant and socialite. In 1982, he was convicted of both the attempted murder of his wife Sunny von Bülow (born Martha Sharp Crawford; 1932–2008) in 1979, which had left her in a temporary coma, as well as an alleged insulin overdose in 1980 that left her in a persistent vegetative state for the rest of her life. Ole Hansen (1855–1928) was a Denmark, Danish politician, farmer and Minister for Food, Agriculture and Fisheries (Denmark), Minister for Agriculture in the Cabinet of Deuntzer and the Cabinet of J.C. Christensen I as a member of the Venstre Reform Party. He was the first farmer to become a Danish minister. Landsting (Denmark)
Landstinget was the upper house of the Rigsdag (the parliament of Denmark), from 1849 until 1953, when the bicameral system was abolished in favour of unicameralism. Landstinget had powers equal to the Folketing, which made the two houses of parliament hard to distinguish. Originally, membership and the electorate was restricted, and the members were largely conservatives. Membership of the house was then restricted to certain sectors of society: only males with a certain net worth could hold a seat. In 1915, these restrictions were removed, and a few new members were appointed by the existing members. Etymology and earlier use (old Norse: þing) means assembly. Carl Theodor Zahle
Carl Theodor Zahle (19 January 1866 in Roskilde – 3 February 1946 in Copenhagen), was a Danish lawyer and politician who served as Prims Minister of Denmark from 1909 to 1910 and again from 1913 to 1920. In 1895, he was elected as a member of the lower chamber of the Danish parliament, the Folketing, for the Liberal Party (''Venstrereformpartiet''). A campaigner for peace, in 1905 he co-founded the Social Liberal Party (''Det Radikale Venstre'') together with other (mostly pacifistic) disgruntled members of ''Venstrereformpartiet''. Danmarks Nationalbank (in Danish often simply ''Nationalbanken'') is the central bank of the Kingdom of Denmark. It is a non-eurozone member of the European System of Central Banks ( ESCB).
