Frieda Van Themsche
Frieda Leontine Mauritia Van Themsche (born 26 April 1955 – 16 March 2023) was a member of the Belgian federal parliament. 1955–2003 Van Themsche was born in Uccle into a Flemish-nationalist family. Her father Karel and his twin brother fought on the side of the Waffen-SS on the Eastern Front during the Second World War. Her father lost a leg, his brother died. Her brother, Hans van Themsche's father, was a founding member of the Vlaams Blok. Hans Van Themsche has been convicted of several racist murders, which he committed in the city of Antwerp in the spring of 2006. After marriage, Van Themsche moved to Harelbeke. Uccle
Uccle () or Ukkel () is one of the 19 municipalities of the Brussels-Capital Region, Belgium. In common with all of Brussels' municipalities, it is legally bilingual (French–Dutch). It is generally considered an affluent area of the city and is particularly noted for its community of French immigrants. The Virginia Tech shooting was a spree killer, spree shooting that occurred on April 16, 2007, comprising two attacks on the campus of the Virginia Tech, Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in Blacksburg, Virginia, Blacksburg, Virginia, United States. Kuurne
Kuurne () is a municipality located in the Belgian province of West Flanders. The municipality comprises only the town of Kuurne proper. On January 1, 2006, Kuurne had a total population of 12,591. The total area is 10.01 km² which gives a population density of 1258 inhabitants per km². The Leie functions as a natural border between Kuurne and Harelbeke. Inhabitants from Kuurne are nicknamed 'donkeys'. This is said to be a term of derision given to them by the people of nearby Kortrijk because traders from Kuurne habitually set off for the Kortrijk market at an early hour, their ass-drawn carts laden with vegetables. Herman De Croo
Herman Francies Joseph De Croo (born 12 August 1937) is a Belgian politician of the Open Flemish Liberals and Democrats. First elected in March 1968, he is the longest serving Belgian member of parliament, serving uninterrupted until 2014. He is the father of incumbent prime minister Alexander De Croo.
