Friday The 13th Part III
''Friday the 13th Part III'' is a 1982 American slasher film directed by Steve Miner, produced by Frank Mancuso Jr., and starring Dana Kimmell, Paul Kratka, and Richard Brooker. It is the third installment in the ''Friday the 13th'' franchise. Set directly after the events of ''Friday the 13th Part 2'', the plot follows a teenage girl (Kimmell) and her friends who go on a trip at a house near Crystal Lake where a wounded Jason Voorhees (Brooker) has taken refuge until reemerging for another killing spree. Steve Miner
Stephen C. Miner (born June 18, 1951) is an American director of film and television, film producer, and a member of the Motion Picture Academy of Arts and Sciences. He is notable for his work in the horror genre, including ''Friday the 13th Part 2'', ''Friday the 13th Part III'', ''House'', ''Warlock'', '' Halloween H20: 20 Years Later'', '' Lake Placid'', and ''Day of the Dead''. He has also directed numerous comedy and drama films, as well as episodes of notable television series including ''The Wonder Years, Dawson's Creek'', and ''Smallville.'' Lawrence J. Zerner (born September 8, 1963) is an American lawyer and actor who appeared in the 1982 horror film ''Friday the 13th Part III'' as Shelly Finkelstein, the original owner of the infamous hockey mask which became Jason Voorhees's trademark. Catherine LaBelle Parks (born December 10, 1956) is an American actress who has starred in movies and on television. She is perhaps best known for her roles in the 1982 horror movie ''Friday the 13th Part III'', as Vera Sanchez, and the 1989 comedy ''Weekend at Bernie's''.
