Freya (song)
"Freya" is a song by American heavy metal band The Sword. Written by the band and produced by vocalist and guitarist John D. Cronise, it is featured on the band's 2006 debut studio album ''Age of Winters''. In addition to being released as the only single from the album on September 4, 2007, "Freya" was featured as a playable track on the video game ''Guitar Hero II'', released in November 2006. Due in part to its inclusion on ''Guitar Hero II'', as well as its release as the lead single from ''Age of Winters'', "Freya" is often cited as The Sword's signature song. It has been performed at almost every one of the band's shows, and was praised by critics upon its release. The song was later included on the 2009 ''Guitar Hero'' expansion ''Smash Hits'', and also on the band's ''iTunes Festival: London 2010'' EP. Origins and recording "Freya" was originally recorded for The Sword's third demo, released in 2005 and often referred to as "The ''Freya'' EP". The song's lyrics are said ...

List Of Saint Seiya Anime-only Characters
This article comprises a list of characters that do not exist in Masami Kurumada's ''Saint Seiya'' manga and are found only in its anime adaptation, therefore they remain out of the canon of the fictional universe. ''Saint Seiya'' author Kurumada was not involved in their creation process, design or conceptualization and although these characters had a participation in the storyline to some extent, they have now been retconned from the continuity of the anime adaptation to keep it closer to Kurumada's manga. They range from support secondary characters to various ally or antagonistic factions. Steel Saints ; : :The Steel Saints' armors were created by Dr. Asamori, who was supported at the beginning by Mitsumasa Kido. Unlike the other Saints, the Steel Saints' powers come from their robotic armors and not from their Cosmo. Elementary OS
elementary OS is a Linux distribution based on Ubuntu LTS. It promotes itself as a "thoughtful, capable, and ethical" replacement to macOS and Windows and has a pay-what-you-want model. The operating system, the desktop environment (called Pantheon), and accompanying applications are developed and maintained by Elementary, Inc. Design philosophy The human interface guidelines of the elementary OS project focus on immediate usability with a gentle learning curve, rather than full-fledged customization. The three core rules the developers set for themselves were "concision", "accessible configuration" and "minimal documentation". Since its inception, elementary OS has received praise and criticism for its design. ''Wired'' claimed that it closely resembled macOS, visually and in user experience. The elementary developers maintain that any similarities are unintentional. Pantheon's main shell is deeply integrated with other elementary OS applications, like Plank (a dock), Web ...

Freya Radar
Freya was an early warning radar deployed by Germany during World War II; it was named after the Norse goddess Freyja. During the war, over a thousand stations were built. A naval version operating on a slightly different wavelength was also developed as the ''Seetakt''. Development First tests of what would become the "''Freya''" were conducted in early 1937, with initial delivery of an operational radar to the ''Kriegsmarine'' in 1938 by the GEMA company. Freya supported an early version of Identification friend or foe (IFF). Aircraft equipped with the FuG 25a "''Erstling''" IFF system could be successfully queried across ranges of over 100 km. The "AN" version gained a switchable phasing line for the antenna. Switching in the phasing line led to a phase displacement of the antenna's radiation pattern and with that, a squinting to the left or right. This enabled the system in effect to switch from the rather broad "scanning for maxima" to narrow lobe switching. ...
