Fahd Jassem al-Freij ( ar, فهد جاسم الفريج) (born 17 January 1950) is the former Minister of Defense of Syria, took office on 18 July 2012 and left office on 1 January 2018. Elias Freij
Elias Mitri Freij ( ar, الياس فريج; 1918 – 29 March 1998), was a Palestinian Christian politician. He was the mayor of Bethlehem from 1972 to 1997. Freij was born in 1918 in Bethlehem to a family which could trace its residence in Bethlehem back 500 years. He graduated from the British-run Bishop Gobat school in Jerusalem in 1940. In the early 1950s, he headed the local branch of the Holy Land Mission, an American Presbyterian-backed charity. As the owner of a string of shops selling olivewood and mother-of-pearl souvenirs, he was appointed to Bethlehem town council under Jordanian rule in 1960. Wilhelm Siegmund Frei (5 September 1885 – 27 January 1943) was a German dermatologist best known for his contributions to Durand-Nicolas-Favre disease, a sexually transmitted disease found mainly in tropical and subtropical climates. He is also known for the Frei Test, which was developed in 1925 for the detection of lymphogranuloma venereum (LGV). Early life Wilhelm Siegmund Frei was born in Neustadt, Upper Silesia. Thomas Frei (born 19 January 1985) is a Swiss road bicycle racer. Frei was Swiss Junior champion in road cycling in 2002. Between 2004 and 2006 he cycled for the Bürgis Cycling Team and won the Mountain Championship for U23 cyclists. In the 2007 and 2008 seasons, Frei rode for UCI ProTour team before moving to for 2009 on a two-year contract. There he was roommate and domestique for future Tour de France champion Cadel Evans. In his second season with BMC, Frei tested positive for EPO.
