''French Quarter'' is a 1978 American drama film directed by Dennis Kane, and telling two parallel stories set in the red light area of New Orleans, one contemporary and one set at the turn of the century. The film has music composed by Dick Hyman. The film stars Virginia Mayo, Bruce Davison, Alisha Fontaine, Ann Michelle and Lindsay Bloom in the lead roles, with Lance LeGault appearing uncredited. Dennis or Denis is a first or last name from the Greco-Roman name Dionysius, via one of the Saint Dionysius (other), Christian saints named Dionysius. William Lance LeGault (May 2, 1935 – September 10, 2012) was an American actor. He was best known as U.S. Army Colonel Roderick Decker in the 1980s American television series ''The A-Team''. Early and personal life LeGault was born May 2, 1935 in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Mary Jean (née Kovachevich; died December 21, 1980) and Ernest Legault (1906–1941). LeGault's father, Ernest, was French-Canadian from Moose Creek, Ontario, Canada. LeGault's mother, Mary, was born in Illinois, the daughter of immigrants from the Austro-Hungarian Empire. The family was poor. He lived in an orphanage for a time between his father's death in 1941 and when his mother remarried in 1943. He started working at 11, and was fired from the railroad at 13 when they discovered he was not 18 as he had claimed. Richard Hyman (born March 8, 1927) is an American jazz pianist and composer. Over a 70-year career, he has worked as a pianist, organist, arranger, music director, electronic musician, and composer. He was named a National Endowment for the Arts Jazz Masters fellow in 2017. His grandson is designer and artist Adam Charlap Hyman. As a pianist, Hyman has been praised for his versatility.
