The French Prudential Supervision and Resolution Authority (french: Autorité de contrôle prudentiel et de résolution, ACPR), formerly known as Prudential Supervision Authority (french: Autorité de contrôle prudentiel, ACP), is an independent administrative authority which exercises prudential supervision of regulated French financial firms such as banks and insurance companies. The Single Resolution Mechanism (SRM) is one of the pillars of the European Union's European Union banking union, banking union.
