Noiseworks are an Australian hard rock band formed in Sydney in 1986 with bass guitarist Steve Balbi, guitarist Stuart Fraser, drummer Kevin Nicol, keyboardist Justin Stanley and lead vocalist Jon Stevens. They had four Australian Top 10 albums, ''Noiseworks (album), Noiseworks'' (1987), ''Touch (Noiseworks album), Touch'' (1988), ''Love Versus Money (Noiseworks album), Love Versus Money'' (1991) and ''Greatest Hits (Noiseworks album), Greatest Hits'' (1992). They produced three Top 10 singles, "Take Me Back (Noiseworks song), Take Me Back", "Touch (Noiseworks song), Touch" and "Hot Chilli Woman" before disbanding in 1992. Love Versus Money (Noiseworks Album)
''Love versus Money'' is the third studio album by Australian rock band Noiseworks. It contained the Top 10 hit " Hot Chilli Woman". It is their most commercially successful album. Amongst the well-known names that contributed to the album were Snap! singer Penny Ford, Vika Bull and Michael Hutchence of INXS. The album also contained a tribute to frontman Jon Stevens's late mother who had died from cancer, the song was titled " R.I.P. (Millie)". This was the final studio album for phase one of Noiseworks as they disbanded shortly afterwards. However, in December 2007, lead singer Jon Stevens announced that Noiseworks, who had reformed earlier that year (minus keyboardist Justin Stanley), were returning to the studio in 2008 to record their first album together in sixteen years. Randall Darius Jackson (born June 23, 1956) is an American record executive and television presenter, perhaps best known as a judge on ''American Idol'' from 2002 to 2013. Jackson began his career in the 1980s as a session musician playing bass guitar for an array of jazz, pop, rock, and R&B performers.
