''Free'' is the title of Kate Ryan's fourth studio album. It was released on May 30, 2008 by ARS/Universal. It includes the singles, " Voyage Voyage", " L.I.L.Y.", " Ella elle l'a", " I Surrender" and " Your Eyes". The album performed moderately well on the charts and was certified Gold in Poland for shipments of 18,000 copies. Kate Ryan (born Katrien Verbeeck, 22 July 1980) is a Belgian singer and songwriter, and the winner of a World Music Award. She began her singing career in 2001 and later found fame with a string of dance hits. These included covers, mostly of Mylène Farmer and France Gall, such as " Désenchantée", "Libertine", and "Ella, elle l'a", and Desireless' "Voyage Voyage", as well as new material. Ryan represented Belgium in the Eurovision Song Contest 2006 with "Je t'adore" coming in 12th place in the semi-final. "Désenchantée" (; feminine of ''désenchanté'', which is French for "Disenchanted" or "Disappointed") is a 1991 song recorded by French singer-songwriter Mylène Farmer. Darren James Mew (born 23 May 1975), better known as Darren Styles, is an English record producer, DJ, singer and songwriter from Colchester, England. Originally a member of the breakbeat hardcore group DJ Force & the Evolution, Styles found success during the 1990s as one half of Force & Styles. The duo were pioneers of happy hardcore and wrote several well-known songs such as " Heart of Gold", "Pretty Green Eyes" and " Paradise & Dreams". Jo Lemaire (born 5 January 1956) is a Belgian singer and songwriter born in Gembloux, Namur. Beyond her native country, she is also popular in France, Switzerland, Canada, and the Netherlands.
