The FreeMove alliance is a business alliance of mobile telecommunications companies based in Europe. History The FreeMove alliance was established in 2003, combining the national network capabilities of four of Europe's largest national mobile operators: Deutsche Telecom, France Télécom (now Orange S.A.), Telefónica and Telecom Italia (TIM) for multinational customers. Timeline January 2020: Swisscom joined FreeMove in January 2020. November 2017: BT joined FreeMove in November 2017. September 2013 : Eir, the main Irish operator, joins FreeMove. Bridge Alliance
The Bridge Alliance (originally the Bridge Mobile Alliance) is a business alliance of 34 major mobile telecommunications companies in Asia, Australia, Africa and the Middle East. It uses connectivity and a suite of integrated value-added services, including IoT/M2M, Optimization and Enterprise Mobility, for all alliance members' subscribers while roaming on each other's networks. The concept is similar to that of the FreeMove alliance in Europe, with whom the Bridge Alliance has a partnership.FreeMove and Bridge Mobile Alliance to establish alliance-to-alliance cooperation

Starmap Mobile Alliance
Starmap Mobile Alliance was a preferential service agreement signed in February 2004 by a group of European GSM cell phone providers to provide their customers with easier and more economical roaming services and to create synergies when buying equipment. The main advantages for Starmap customers are no-prefix dialing when abroad (CAMEL roaming), topping-up by vouchers and the availability of MMS picture messaging services and GPRS data access even when roaming. The original members were (February 2004): * Amena, Spain (left after acquisition by ''Orange'') *Telefónica Europe, United Kingdom, Ireland, Germany *Orange, Austria (formerly known as ''One'') * Pannon GSM, Hungary *sunrise, Switzerland *Telenor, Norway *Wind, Italy In March 2004, Sonofon of Denmark and in September 2004 O2 of Czech Republic (formerly known as '' Eurotel'') joined the alliance.
