Fredrik Svanbäck
Fredrik Svanbäck (born 5 December 1979 in Jakobstad, Finland) is a Swedish-speaking Finns, Finnish-Swedish football player and manager who is currently representing Croatia Helsingborg in Swedish Division 5. He last represented Landskrona BoIS in the Sweden, Swedish Superettan. He signed for Helsingborgs IF in 2004 having spent all his career up to that at FF Jaro in his home town. He is a left midfielder, but has also tried the full-back position. He has been capped twice for Finland. Jakobstad (; fi, Pietarsaari) is a town and municipality in Ostrobothnia, Finland. The town has a population of () and covers a land area of . The population density is . Origin of the names The Swedish name literally means ''Jacob's City'' or ''Jacob's Town'', in reference to Jacob De la Gardie. Superettan Players
Superettan (; meaning the super first (division)) is an association football league and the second highest league in the league system of Swedish men's football. Contested by 16 clubs, it operates on a system of promotion and relegation with Allsvenskan and Division 1. Seasons run from April to October, with teams playing 30 matches each, totalling 240 matches in the season. The league was created in 2000. The second tier of Swedish football had previously consisted of a varying number of regionalized leagues operating under the Division 2 (1924–1986) and Division 1 (1987–1999) names. Competition format There are 16 clubs in Superettan. Veikkausliiga (; sv, Tipsligan) is the premier division of Finnish football, the highest tier of the Finnish football league structure, comprising the top 12 clubs of the country. Its main sponsor is the Finnish national betting agency Veikkaus, hence the league's name.
