Fredrik Larsson (racing Driver)
Fredrik Larsson (Falkenberg, 3 September 1976) is a Swedish racing driver. Larsson won the 1996 Barber Dodge Pro Series and currently competes in the Scandinavian Touring Car Championship for WestCoast Racing. Racing career Formula racing After a long karting career spanning between 1986 and 1993 Larsson debuted in single seaters in 1994. Larsson dominated the Swedish Formula Ford Junior category winning eight out of ten races. At eighteen years old Larsson debuted in the Barber Dodge Pro Series in the United States of America. In his first season the young Swede won the race at Texas World Speedway and scored another three podium finishes. These good results placed him fifth in the championship standings. Larsson returned to the series in 1996. After winning five races in the twelve round season Larsson only had to finish twelfth in the last round to secure the championship. Pembrey Circuit
Pembrey Circuit is a motor racing circuit near Pembrey village, Carmarthenshire, Wales. It is the home of Welsh motorsport, providing racing for cars, motorcycles, karts and trucks. The circuit's facilities have also been used for a single-venue rally. History The stimulus for the creation of a racing circuit at Pembrey was the closure of the motor racing facility at Llandow near Cardiff. Port Talbot Motor Cycle Racing Club were the first organisation to put on racing events at this circuit. In 1981 thWelsh Race Drivers' Association(WRDA) was formed with the expressed intention of developing a new race circuit in Wales. At the same time the former RAF airfield at Pembrey, which had been used as a chicken farm, was acquired by Llanelli Borough Council. Alan Docking Racing (ADR) is a motor racing team based in Silverstone, United Kingdom. The team was formed in 1975 by Australian Alan Docking. The team competed in the British Formula 3 series throughout most of its existence; however, it has also graduated to A1 Grand Prix and Superleague Formula and has also competed in sports and saloon cars at a national and international level. Jeff Ward (motorsports)
Jeffrey Ward (born 22 June 1961) is a British-American former professional motocross racer, auto racing driver and off-road racer. He won the AMA Motocross Championship five times and the AMA Supercross Championship twice and the Motocross des Nations seven times. After retiring from motorcycle competition, Ward turned to auto racing, finishing in second place at the Indianapolis 500 and winning a race at the Texas Motor Speedway. He then competed in off-road truck racing and rallycross. Ward was inducted into the Motorcycle Hall of Fame in 1999 and, was inducted into the Motorsports Hall of Fame of America on 12 August 2006. Nazareth Speedway
Nazareth Speedway was an auto racing facility near Nazareth in the Lehigh Valley region of Pennsylvania which operated from 1910 to 2004 in two distinct course configurations. In its early years, it was a dirt twin oval layout. In 1987 it was reopened as a paved tri-oval that measured just slightly under 1 mile. The facility is often linked to local drivers Mario and Michael Andretti's early racing careers. It was also associated with Frankie Schneider due to his large number of wins on the two dirt tracks. As of November 2015, the site was purchased by Raceway Properties LLC under David Jaindl. There are no current plans to return racing to the facility. David Empringham
David Empringham (born December 28, 1963) is a Canadian auto racing driver. He is a two-time Toyota Atlantic, one-time Indy Lights and two-time Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge champion. Most recently, Empringham won the 2012 Grand-Am Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge GS class driver's title with co-driver John Farano. Born in Toronto, Ontario, Empringham began his racing career in 1987, competing in the Spenard/David Formula 2000 series. He then competed regularly in the GM Motorsport series (teammate of Canadian racing legend Richard Spenard) for several years, drove a handful of races in the IMSA Firestone Firehawk series, the Porsche Turbo Cup and Formula Toyota Atlantic. Lola Cars International Ltd. was a British race car engineering company in operation from 1958 to 2012. Derek John Hill (born March 28, 1975 in Santa Monica, California) is an American racing driver. He is the son of Formula One World Champion Phil Hill. Lime Rock Park is a natural-terrain motorsport road racing venue located in Lakeville, Connecticut, United States, a hamlet in the town of Salisbury, in the state's northwest corner. Built in 1956, it is the nation's third oldest continuously operating road racing venue, behind Road America (1955) and Willow Springs International Motorsports Park (1953).
