João Frederico Limpo Franco Gil (born 24 March 1985), known as Fred Gil (), is a retired Portuguese professional tennis player, who currently competes in the ITF Men's Circuit. He is ranked no. 432 in the world by the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP), as of 10 April 2017. Gil made some Portuguese tennis major breakthroughs during his career. At the 2010 Estoril Open, he was the first Portuguese to reach an ATP Tour final, and in April 2011, he achieved a career-high singles world ranking of 62 – the highest ever for a Portuguese player until he was surpassed by Rui Machado in September that same year. Gil was the first Portuguese man to reach the third round in a Grand Slam singles event (2012 Australian Open) and the quarterfinals of a Masters 1000 event ( 2011 Monte-Carlo Masters). Frederico Ferreira "Kiko" Silva (born 18 March 1995) is a Portuguese tennis player who currently plays at ITF Men's Circuit and ATP Challenger Tour. In May 2021, Silva reached a career singles high ranking of No. 168. He also reached a career-high of No. 242 in doubles in August 2016. In 2012, Silva became the first Portuguese player to win a Grand Slam title with the win at the US Open junior doubles tournament, teaming with Brit Kyle Edmund. Frederico Nobre Rosa (6 April 1957 – 17 February 2019), known simply as Frederico, was a Portuguese professional footballer who played as a central defender. Club career Frederico was born in Castro Verde, Baixo Alentejo. Frederico Barbosa (born Recife, Pernambuco on February 20, 1961) is a Brazilian poet. Places of residence Barbosa moved with his family to São Paulo, where he currently lives, when he was six. He lived for some time in the United States, in New Haven, Connecticut, Cambridge, Massachusetts and Austin, Texas. Education Barbosa began undergraduate studies in physics and Greek at the University of São Paulo, where he majored in Portuguese Language and Brazilian and Portuguese Literature. Frederico Chaves Guedes (born 3 October 1983), also known as Fred (), is a Brazilian former professional footballer who played as a striker. Fred began his career at América Mineiro before transferring to local rivals Cruzeiro in 2004. After two seasons there, he moved to Lyon of France in a protracted transfer saga, and won three consecutive Ligue 1 titles.
