Frederick Irwin Anglican School (originally "Frederick Irwin Anglican Community School") is a co-educational private school located in Meadow Springs in Mandurah, Western Australia, with students from Kindergarten to Year 12. The Frederick Irwin Anglican School - Halls Head Campus, opened in January 2018, caters for Kindergarten to Year 6 students. The school motto is "The Truth Will Set You Free." The school is named after Frederick Chidley Irwin, the acting Governor of Western Australia from 1847 to 1848. Anglican Schools Commission
The Anglican Schools Commission (ASC) was established in 1985, following the passage of a resolution by the Anglican Diocese of Perth, Perth Diocesan Synod of the Anglican Church of Australia. It was given the role of creating affordable Christian education in the Anglican tradition, and accessible to the disadvantaged and children with disabilities. Since its establishment, the group has founded or acquired nine schools, initially in Western Australia. Each school is known as an "Anglican Community School" or "Anglican School" which is included in their name. Kimberley Mickle (born 28 December 1984) is an Australian track and field athlete who competes in the javelin throw. Her personal best of 66.83 m, achieved on 22 March 2014 in Melbourne, was, until 2018, the Australian record. Tim & Jean was an indie pop duo from Mandurah, Australia. The group consisted of Tim Ayre and Jean Capotorto. The duo were known for their energetic live performances on stages such as Splendour in the Grass, Good Vibrations Festival, Future Music Festival, Falls Festival and many others. Paul Bower (born 9 January 1988) is an Australian rules footballer who formerly played for the Carlton Football Club in the Australian Football League. Aaron Keith Heal (born 13 March 1983) is an Australian cricketer who played domestically for Western Australia and later the Melbourne Renegades. A left-arm orthodox spinner and capable lower-order batsman, Heal debuted during the 2003–04 season, and played in the team that won that season's ING Cup.
