Fred Weinberg
Fred Weinberg ''(born'' Manfredo Weinberg; 30 December 1942 Colombia) is an American composer, producer, sound designer, and founder of Fred Weinberg Productions, Inc. Early works While attending college, he was hired by a small recording studio in Manhattan named Mastertone, where he started his training as a sound engineer. Weinberg later moved on to A & R Recording, where he worked under the tutelage of engineer-producer and owner of A & R Recording, the late Phil Ramone. After a stint at National Recording Studios, also in New York, Fred became a freelance engineer-producer and composer for many artists, particularly Latin American artists with whom he has strong bonds of musicianship and friendship. "I Like It Like That" is a song written by Tony Pabon and Manny Rodriguez. It was initially a hit for boogaloo musician Pete Rodriguez in 1967, and was one of the most influential boogaloo songs of the era. Rodriguez released an album in 1967 with the same title. Background Tony Pabon and Manny Rodriguez originally wrote "I Like It Like That" in 1967. Tony Pabon sang the vocals for the song, while the instrumentals were performed by Pete Rodriguez Orchestra. The recording was engineered by Fred Weinberg at National Recording Studios in New York City and produced by Roulette Records producer Morrie Pelsman, also known as Pancho Cristal, for Roulette Records. Sugar Sugar, Inc. is a confectionery manufacturer and retailer located in Orlando, Florida. The company is most famous for their handmade hard candy and incredibly large novelty lollipops weighing up to 2 pounds each. One of their specialties is a personalized candy where they form names, words, and logos by hand within each bite-sized piece of hard candy. The style of candymaking is very similar to Great Britain's " stick of rock" or Australia's "lollies" and often called just Rock or Lolly. Dreams (band)
Dreams was an American jazz-rock group, which was one of the original prominent bands of the genre in the late 1960s and early 1970s. The band was formed by Jeff Kent and Doug Lubahn, who wrote and arranged their songs. It began as a trio and evolved into a horn-based band over time. They were later joined by Will Lee, Don Grolnick, Bob Mann, and Eddie Vernon.
