Fred Nixon (26 September 1874 – 12 March 1933) was an Australian rules footballer who played with St Kilda in the Victorian Football League (VFL). Prahran (), also pronounced colloquially as Pran, is an inner suburb in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, 5 km south-east of Melbourne's Central Business District, located within the City of Stonnington local government area. The Corowa Football Club, nicknamed the Spiders, was an Australian rules football club based in Corowa, New South Wales, that competed in the Ovens & Murray Football League. The club merged with the Wahgunyah Football Club on several occasions during its early history and as a result was also known as the Border United Football Club from time to time between 1877 and 1947. Then in 1979, both Corowa Football Club and Rutherglen Football Club merged to form Corowa Rutherglen Football Club and have played in the Ovens and Murray Football League ever since. The Australian Football League (AFL) is the only fully professional competition of Australian rules football. The Ovens and Murray Football Netball League (O&MFNL) is an Australian rules football and netball competition containing ten clubs based in north-eastern Victoria, Australia, Victoria, the southern Riverina region of New South Wales, Australia, New South Wales and the Ovens and Murray area.
