Fred Myton
Fred Myton (November 15, 1885 – June 6, 1955) was an American screenwriter. He wrote 168 films between 1916 and 1952, mostly low-budget "B" pictures for Poverty Row studios and independent producers. He wrote many films for Producers Releasing Corporation. Garden City, Kansas
Garden City is a city in, and the county seat of, Finney County, Kansas, United States. As of the 2020 United States census, 2020 census, the population of the city was 28,151. The city is home to Garden City Community College and the Lee Richardson Zoo, the largest zoological park in western Kansas. History In February 1878, James R. Fulton, William D. Fulton and W.D.'s son, L.W. Fulton, arrived at the present site of Garden City. The original townsite was laid out on the south half of section 18 by engineer Charles Van Trump. The land was a loose, sandy loam and covered with sagebrush and soap weeds, but there were no trees. Main Street ran directly north and south, dividing William D. and James R. Fulton's claims. ''The Deadlier Sex'' is a 1920 American silent drama-comedy film directed by Robert Thornby which stars Blanche Sweet and features Boris Karloff, and was distributed by Pathé Exchange. The screenplay was written by Fred Myton, based on a short story by Bayard Veiller. It was filmed in Truckee, California. This film was recently restored by the Academy Film Archive and still exists. It is based on the 1912 novel ''The Prince and Betty'' written by P. G. Wodehouse. Plot As described in a film magazine, Benjamin Scobell (Taylor), possessed of the idea that he can make the Principality of Merve more famous than Monte Carlo, if properly advertised, employs the American John Maude (Desmond) to impersonate a prince and start a revolution. John, anxious to marry the wealthy Betty Keith (Thurman) but temporarily out of funds, accepts the assignment. Later he learns that Betty is the stepdaughter of Scobell and that she disapproves of his method of obtaining a livelihood, which upsets his plan completely. ''All Night'' is a 1918 American silent comedy-drama film directed by Paul Powell and starring Carmel Myers and Rudolph Valentino (credited as Rudolpho di Valentina).
