Fred Moorhouse
Fred Moorhouse (25 March 1880 – 7 April 1933) was an English cricketer who played first-class cricket in 117 matches for Warwickshire County Cricket Club, Warwickshire between 1900 and 1908. He was born at Berry Brow, Huddersfield, Yorkshire and died at Dudley, then in Worcestershire, now in West Midlands (county), West Midlands. The brother of the Yorkshire County Cricket Club, Yorkshire cricketer Robert Moorhouse, Fred Moorhouse was a amateur status in first-class cricket, professional right-handed lower-order batsman and a right-arm medium-pace bowler. Having played in single match in 1900 and a few games in 1901, all without achieving any success, Moorhouse became a regular player for Warwickshire over the next six seasons. Cricket is a bat-and-ball game played between two teams of eleven players on a field at the centre of which is a pitch with a wicket at each end, each comprising two bails balanced on three stumps. Cheshire County Cricket Club is one of twenty minor county clubs within the domestic cricket structure of England and Wales. It represents the historic county of Cheshire. The team is currently a member of the Minor Counties Championship Western Division and plays in the MCCA Knockout Trophy. Minor Counties
The National Counties, known as the Minor Counties before 2020, are the cricketing counties of England and Wales that do not have first-class status. The game is administered by the National Counties Cricket Association (NCCA), which comes under the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB). There are currently twenty teams in National Counties cricket: nineteen representing historic counties of England, plus the Wales National County Cricket Club. Of the 39 historic counties of England, 17 have a first-class county cricket team (the 18th first-class county is Glamorgan in Wales) and 18 participate in the National Counties championship. Frank Foster (cricketer)
Frank Rowbotham Foster (31 January 1889 – 3 May 1958) was an English Amateur status in first-class cricket, amateur cricketer who played for Warwickshire County Cricket Club from 1908 to 1914, and in Test cricket for England cricket team, England in 1911 and 1912. He was born in Birmingham and died in Northampton. His career was cut short after a motor-cycle accident during World War I. Foster was an all-rounder. Frank Field (cricketer, Born 1874)
Frank Ernest Field or Ernest Frank Field (23 September 1874 in Weethley, Warwickshire, England – 25 August 1934 in Droitwich, Worcestershire, England) was a Warwickshire fast bowler who is best remembered for sharing with Frank Foster the bowling honours in Warwickshire's flukish County Championship triumph in the abnormally dry summer of 1911 - the only time any county outside the "Big Six" (Yorkshire, Lancashire, Nottinghamshire, Middlesex, Kent and Surrey) won between 1890 and 1935. However, aside from this triumph, Field had a long career before Foster even played for Warwickshire. London County Cricket Club
London County Cricket Club was a short-lived cricket club founded by the Crystal Palace Company. In 1898 they invited WG Grace to help them form a first-class cricket club. Grace accepted the offer and became the club's secretary, manager and captain. As a result, he severed his connection with Gloucestershire CCC during the 1899 season. The club played first-class matches between 1900 and 1904. The club's home ground was Crystal Palace Park Cricket Ground in south London. Some of the leading players of the time played matches for the club while continuing to play for their usual teams, among them CB Fry, JWHT Douglas, Albert Trott and Ranjitsinhji. Worcestershire County Cricket Club is one of eighteen first-class county clubs within the domestic cricket structure of England and Wales. It represents the historic county of Worcestershire. The Circle, Kingston Upon Hull
The Circle was a cricket ground on Anlaby Road in Kingston upon Hull, which hosted 89 first-class matches from 1899 to 1974. Two other matches were rained off without a ball being bowled.
