Fred J. Koenekamp
Frederick James Koenekamp, American Society of Cinematographers, A.S.C. (November 11, 1922 – May 31, 2017) was an American cinematographer. He was the son of cinematographer Hans F. Koenekamp. Koenekamp worked in television and feature films from the 1960s, earning two Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Cinematography for a Single-Camera Series, Primetime Emmy Awards for his work on ''The Man from U.N.C.L.E.'' He was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Cinematography, Oscar for ''Patton (film), Patton'' (1970) and ''Islands in the Stream (film), Islands in the Stream'' (1977) and won the Oscar for ''The Towering Inferno'' (1974), along with Joseph Biroc. John Eliot Sturges (; January 3, 1910 – August 18, 1992) was an American film director. His films include ''Bad Day at Black Rock'' (1955), ''Gunfight at the O.K. Corral'' (1957), ''The Magnificent Seven'' (1960), '' The Great Escape'' (1963), and ''Ice Station Zebra'' (1968).
