Fred Fatiaki
Fred Fatiaki is a Fijian Paralympic athlete, athletics coach and official. He coached the first Fijian and Pacific Islander to ever win a gold medal at the 2012 Summer Paralympics, Iliesa Delana who he had been coaching since 2006. In 2013 he won the Fiji Sports Awards Coach of the Year for 2012. Fatiaki has been working for the Fiji Paralympic Committee since 2008. Track And Field
Track and field is a sport that includes athletic contests based on running, jumping, and throwing skills. 2012 Summer Paralympics
The 2012 Summer Paralympics, branded as the London 2012 Paralympic Games, were an international multi-sport parasports event held from 29 August to 9 September 2012 in London, England, United Kingdom. They were the 14th Summer Paralympic Games as organised by the International Paralympic Committee (IPC). Iliesa Delana
Iliesa Delana (born 2 December 1984) is a Fijian politician and Paralympic high jumper who has been Member of the Parliament of Fiji and Cabinet Minister since 17 September 2014. He was the first Fijian athlete to win a medal, gold in high jump, for Fiji at the Paralympics. Early life Delana was born in Naisausau, Namara, Tailevu, Fiji. He lost his left leg in a bus accident at age three. He debuted at the FESPIC Games in 2006, and has since won silver medal at the 2011 IPC Athletics World Championships, held in New Zealand, and then a gold medal at the 2012 Summer Paralympics. 2012 Paralympics Delana competed in the F42 category (for single leg amputees without prosthesis) at the 2012 Summer Paralympics. Ravai Fatiaki (born 1 March 1987) is a Fijian rugby union player who plays for Leicester Tigers in England's Premiership Rugby. He plays as a centre or fly-half. Biography Fatiaki's older brother of Fred, coached the former Assistant Minister for Youth and Sports, Iliesa Delana to a first Gold medal win for Fiji and the Pacific at the 2012 Summer Paralympics. Along with Iliesa Keresoni, Fatiaki was a member of the 2006 Lelean Memorial School Under 19 Dream Team that won the Fiji Secondary Schools' Rugby Union championship Deans Trophy. Fatiaki made his international debut for Fiji in 2009 against Japan. He was a member of the Fiji squad for the 2011 Rugby World Cup in New Zealand. Fatiaki has since joined the British Army playing professional Rugby for the Army and appeared in the starting line up of the 2017 Army v Navy.
