Fred Campos
Frederico Luís Ladeira Campos (born 27 April 1984), known as just Fred, is a Brazilian footballer who plays for Santa Cruz. Biography Fred, born in Cajuri, Minas Gerais started his career at Cruzeiro. He then left for another team inside the state, for Ipatinga. In 2005, he was loaned to another minor team Valeriodoce. He was the understudy of Rodrigo Posso in 2007 Campeonato Brasileiro Série B. However, he obtained the starting role in mid-season, made 21 appearances. The team promoted as the runner-up. Fred remained as the first choice in 2008 Campeonato Brasileiro Série A, made 19 appearances. In mid-season Fernando took the starting role. Ipatinga relegated at the end of season. 2011 Campeonato Brasileiro Série D
In 2011, the Campeonato Brasileiro Série D, the fourth division of the Brazilian League, will be contested for the third time in history, during 18 July and 13 November. It will be contested by 40 clubs, four of which will eventually qualify to the Campeonato Brasileiro Série C to be contested in 2012. Competition format The 40 teams are divided in eight groups of 5, playing within them in a double round-robin format. The two best ranked in each group at the end of 10 rounds will qualify to the Second Stage, which will be played in home-and-away system. Winners advance to Third Stage. The quarterfinal winners will be promoted to the Série C 2012. As there is no Série E, or fifth division, technically there will be no relegation. In 2009, the Campeonato Brasileiro Série B, the second level of the Brazilian League, was contested by 20 clubs from May 8 to November 29, 2009. Top four teams in the table would eventually qualify to the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A to be contested in 2010, meanwhile the bottom four would be relegated to Série C next season. Three former Brazilian champions played in this edition. Vasco da Gama was relegated for the first time in history, meanwhile Bahia and Guarani came back from Série C in 2007 and 2008, respectively. Marcelo Cruz
Marcelo Cruz Utreras (born Quito 1943) is an Ecuadorian neurologist and politician. He graduated as a doctor from the Central University of Ecuador in 1969. Later he traveled to the United States to carry out his specialization as a neurologist in Boston. He graduated as a neurologist in the mid-1970s, when he also founded the first Neurology service of Ecuador at the Carlos Andrade Marín Hospital in Quito.
