Fred Brown (linebacker)
Fred Richert Brown (born May 4, 1943) is a former American football player. He played college football as an end at Miami (FL) and was captain of Miami's 1964 team. He then played professional football in National Football League (NFL) as a linebacker and tight end from 1965 to 1969, appearing in 40 NFL games. Early years Brown was born in Honolulu in 1943. His father was serving there with the Army Air Corps. After starting his collegiate career at American River Junior College in Sacramento, California, he played college football as an end at Miami (FL) in 1963 and 1964. Linebacker
Linebacker (LB) is a playing position in gridiron football. Linebackers are members of the defensive team, and line up three to five yards behind the line of scrimmage and the defensive linemen. They are the "middle ground" of defenders, playing closer to the line of scrimmage than the defensive backs (secondary), but farther back than the defensive linemen. As such, linebackers play a hybrid role and are often the most versatile players on the defensive side of the ball; they can be asked to play roles similar to either a defensive lineman (such as stopping the runner on a running play) or a defensive back (such as dropping back into pass coverage). Franklin Field is a sports stadium in Philadelphia, United States, at the eastern edge of the University of Pennsylvania's campus. Maxie Baughan
Maxie Callaway Baughan Jr. (born August 3, 1938) is a former American football linebacker who played in the National Football League (NFL) for the Philadelphia Eagles, Los Angeles Rams, and the Washington Redskins. Baughan played college football at Georgia Tech. College career While at Georgia Tech, Baughan played and started at both linebacker and center. In 1959, he was Georgia Tech's captain, an All-American, the Southeastern Conference Lineman of the Year, and the Most Valuable Player in the 1960 Gator Bowl. He set a Georgia Tech single-season record with 124 tackles. Baughan was inducted into the Georgia Tech Hall of Fame in 1965 and the College Football Hall of Fame in 1988. William Francis Molden (July 28, 1942 – January 6, 2023) was an American football defensive tackle in the National Football League (NFL) for the Los Angeles Rams, the Philadelphia Eagles, and the New York Giants. American River College (ARC) is a public community college in unincorporated Sacramento, California. It is part of the California Community Colleges System.
