Frederick Henry Bradley, (27 September 1876 – 10 March 1943) was a British Army officer and an English recipient of the Victoria Cross, the highest award for gallantry in the face of the enemy that can be awarded to British and Commonwealth of Nations, Commonwealth forces. Frederick Gordon Bradley (March 21, 1886 – March 30, 1966) was a Canadian and Dominion of Newfoundland politician. Parentage Born in St. John's, Newfoundland Colony, he was the son of Norman Bradley and Evangeline Trimm. Education and employment Bradley became the principal of the Methodist School in Bonavista after finishing his education at Methodist College in 1906. Three years later, he studied law at Dalhousie University and was called to the bar in 1915. Later he started his own law practice. Politics In 1924, he was elected to the House of Assembly representing the electoral district of Port de Grave. A Conservative, he was a Minister without Portfolio in the cabinet of Walter Stanley Monroe until he resigned from the caucus in 1926 to sit as an Independent. Frederick Van Ness Bradley
Frederick Van Ness Bradley (April 12, 1898 – May 24, 1947) was an American politician who served as the U.S. representative for Michigan's 11th congressional district from 1939 until his death in 1947. He was a member of the Republican Party. Early life and career Bradley was born in Chicago and moved to Rogers City, Michigan, in 1910 where he attended the public schools and graduated from Rogers City High School. He attended Montclair Academy in Montclair, New Jersey and in 1918 joined the United States Army for World War I. Bradley served in the Student Army Training Corps at Plattsburgh Barracks, New York. He graduated from Cornell University in 1921. His father was president of the Michigan Limestone and Chemical Company, and Bradley worked for the company as a salesman in Buffalo, New York from 1921 to 1923. Fred Langdon Bradley (July 31, 1920 – April 24, 2012) was an American pitcher in Major League Baseball who played in and for the Chicago White Sox. Listed at , 180 lb., he batted and threw right-handed. Bradley was one of many baseball players whose career was interrupted during World War II. Bradley was signed by the New York Yankees in 1940 and immediately was assigned to their minor league system. In 1941 and 1942, he averaged 15 wins per season before joining the U.S. Navy in 1943. Following his military discharge, Bradley pitched in the Yankees' AAA system during 1946 and 1947. In 1948 he was dealt by New York, along Aaron Robinson and Bill Wight, to the White Sox in exchange for Eddie Lopat. In 1948 Bradley posted a 4.60 earned run average in eight relief appearances for the White Sox and did not have a decision. Frederick Deryl "Fred" Bradley (born September 17, 1949) is a former politician. He served in the Legislative Assembly of Alberta from 1975 to 1993. He also served as Minister of the Environment from 1982 to 1986 under Premiers Peter Lougheed and Don Getty. Political career Bradley ran as a Progressive Conservative candidate in the 1975 Alberta general election and defeated incumbent Social Credit MLA Charles Drain. In the 1979 general election he was re-elected with a slightly larger plurality than in 1975. He was re-elected in the 1982 general election with the largest plurality of his career. After the election Premier Peter Lougheed appointed Bradley the new Minister of Environment. He remained with this portfolio when Don Getty became Premier in 1985.
