Elliott Frear
Elliott Thomas Frear (born 11 September 1990) is an English professional footballer, who plays for National League South side Bath City, as a winger. Career Frear signed for Exeter City at the age of 11 and progressed through the club's Centre of Excellence sides, but after three seasons he was released from the club's youth system. Having spent two seasons playing local club football Frear was invited to a trial with Exeter in partnership with Exeter College and was offered a two-year placement on the College Football Academy programme. Following Frear's impressive 2008–09 season for the youth team scoring 15 goals from the left side of midfield Frear was offered a professional contract in March 2009. In October 2009, Frear was sent out on loan to Southern League Premier Division side Tiverton Town initially on a month's loan later extended until the end of the season. Mary Dillingham Frear
Mary Emma Dillingham Frear (1870-1951) was First Lady of the Territory of Hawaii from 1907 to 1913, and was a regent of the University of Hawaii for two decades. The granddaughter of missionaries, she was the first Hawaii-born wife of a governor of Hawaii. Background and family She was born as Mary Emma Dillingham in Honolulu on June 30, 1870, but was nicknamed May. Her father Benjamin Franklin Dillingham was the founder of the Oahu Railway and Land Company. Her mother Emma Louise Smith was the daughter of missionaries Lowell Smith and Abigail Willis Tenney, who arrived in Honolulu on May 31, 1833. Frear Park
Frear Park is an urban park in the city of Troy, New York. It was initially opened in 1917, on land donated by the Frear Family, later expanding to its current size of . The park contains nature trails, as well as tennis courts, a golf course, and an ice rink. History The original donators of the park, the Frear Family, initially lived in France where their name was 'Frere'. When they moved to England to escape turmoil in France due to World War I, the family name was changed to 'Frear'. The park's fountain was created in 1924, and the maintenance facility the year after. The golf course, initially a 9-hole course, was finished in Spring 1931, with the expansion to a full 18 holes coming in 1964. A $1.2 million irrigation system was later added in 2014. Scott Frear is a former American football coach. He served as the head football coach at the University of Saint Mary in Leavenworth, Kansas from 2002 to 2004, compiling a record of 10–18. Coaching career Assistant collegiate coaching Frear worked at Avila University as an offensive coordinator and was a part of bringing the program into existence. He also spent two seasons at Lindenwood University as the defensive line coach. Alexander Frear
Alexander Frear (1820 – May 22, 1882) was an American politician. He served as a councilman in New York City, and later an Alderman. He was elected to the New York State Assembly, and later in his life became the Commissioner of Emigration and Commissioner of Public Charities for New York City. A Huguenot whose family immigrated from France, Frear was born on August 18, 1820; in Poughkeepsie, New York, where he received his schooling. In 1848, he founded an importing house 'Alexander Frear & Company'. The business was relatively successful until it went bankrupt in 1857.
