Frazer Lee
Frazer Lee is a British screenwriter, filmmaker, and novelist. Career Frazer Lee's novel The Lamplighters was a Bram Stoker Award for Best First Novel Finalist in 2011. His other published works include Panic Button: The Official Movie Novelization (2011), novels Hearthstone Cottage (2019) and Greyfriars Reformatory (2020), and the Daniel Gates Adventures series of novellas (2013-2018). Lee's film and television directing credits include On Edge (1999), Red Lines (2002), and The Stay (2015). Frazer was named one of the Top 12 UK directors in MySpace.com’s Movie Mash-up contest by a panel including representatives from 20th Century Fox, Vertigo Films and Film Four. He was awarded the Edgar Allan Poe Gothic Filmmaker Award in 2018 for The Stay. Panic Button (2011 Film)
''Panic Button'' is a British independent film released in 2011. The film is a horror thriller, intended as a cautionary tale on the dangers of online social networking. Plot Four young people win the competition of a lifetime; Jo (Scarlett Alice Johnson), Max ( Jack Gordon), Gwen (Elen Rhys) and Dave (Michael Jibson) head off on an all expenses paid trip to New York, courtesy of the social network All2gethr.com. As they board the private jet, they are asked to relinquish their mobile phones and take part in the in-flight entertainment – a new online gaming experience. London FrightFest Film Festival
FrightFest, also known as Arrow Video FrightFest is an annual film festival held in London and Glasgow. The festival holds three major events each year: a festival running five days over the UK late August Bank Holiday weekend, a Halloween event held in London in late October, and a festival in Glasgow held around February as part of the Glasgow Film Festival. The first event was held in London in 2000 and the first Glasgow festival was held in 2006. As its name indicates FrightFest primary focus is on the horror film genre, however, the event regularly features documentaries, science fiction and thriller films. History Paul McEvoy has stated that his initial idea for FrightFest "came from my love and admiration for the seminal 'Shock Around The Clock' events of the 1980s organised by Stefan Jaworszyn and Alan Jones."
