Released on February 3, 2009, through Epic Records, the album debuted at number-one on the ''Billboard'' 200 chart, and became a top 5 hit in Australia and Canada. Race the Fray (originally seen as The Fray) were an Australian independent four-piece alternative rock, pop punk band formed in 2003. The line-up consisted of Alister "Mac" Murrell on drums; Callum "Cal" Reeves on bass guitar; Nicholas "Astro" Russo on vocals and guitar; and Andrew "Swifty" Swift on guitar. In November 2004 they issued their debut self-titled extended play, ''The Fray'', they followed with a second EP, ''This Art Will Play'', under Race the Fray, in September 2005. ''14 Shades of Grey'' is the fourth studio album by American rock band Staind, released on May 20, 2003. The album continues to develop a post-grunge sound seen on the band's previous album '' Break the Cycle'', though the songs on ''14 Shades of Grey'' have fewer pop hooks, focusing more on frontman Aaron Lewis's emotions. ''Fray'' is an eight-issue comic book limited series, a futuristic spin-off of the television series ''Buffy the Vampire Slayer''. Written by ''Buffy'' creator Joss Whedon, the series follows a Slayer named Melaka Fray, a chosen one in a time where vampires (called "lurks") are returning to the slums of New York City, and the rich-poor divide is even greater. Volume one is drawn by Karl Moline (pencils) and Andy Owens ( inks).
