Fraser Brown (rugby Union)
Fraser James Macgregor Brown (born 20 June 1989) is a Scotland international rugby union player. He currently plays for Glasgow Warriors in the United Rugby Championship. He plays as a hooker or in the back row. Rugby union career Amateur career Brown captained his school rugby union team, Merchiston Castle School in 2006. Dropped by Edinburgh in 2011, Brown worked on the family farm in Carstairs and played for Heriot's Rugby Club. Brown has been drafted to Glasgow Hawks in the Scottish Premiership for the 2017-18 season. Professional career In 2010, Brown was selected to play for Edinburgh in the 2010–11 Celtic League, but did not earn a cap. Glasgow Warriors head coach Gregor Townsend recruited Brown in 2013 following injuries in the squad. He made his debut against Italian side Zebre. Lanark, Scotland
Lanark (; gd, Lannraig ; sco, Lanrik) is a town in South Lanarkshire, Scotland, located 20 kilometres to the south-east of Hamilton. The town lies on the River Clyde, at its confluence with Mouse Water. In 2016, the town had a population of 9,050. Scottish Premiership (rugby)
The Scottish Premiership (referred to as the Tennents Premiership for sponsorship reasons) is an amateur league competition for Scottish rugby union clubs. First held in 1973, it is the top division of the Scottish League Championship. The most recent (2019) champions are Ayr, while the most successful club is Hawick, who have won the competition twelve times. Ten clubs contest the league, with the bottom club relegated to the Scottish National League Division One and second-bottom club involved in a play-off. The top level of club rugby in Scotland are the two professional teams – Glasgow Warriors and Edinburgh Rugby – that play in the United Rugby Championship. They assign their players to the clubs below in a Pro-Draft; so that they can still play when not used by the professional sides. The South Africa national rugby union team, commonly known as the Springboks (colloquially the Boks, Bokke or Amabokoboko), is the country's national team governed by the South African Rugby Union. The Springboks play in green and gold jerseys, with white shorts and their emblem is a native antelope, the Springbok, which is the national animal of South Africa. The 2013 mid-year rugby union tests (also known as the summer internationals in the Northern Hemisphere) were international rugby union matches that were played in June 2013, mostly in the Southern Hemisphere. These matches were played in the second year of the global rugby calendar established by the International Rugby Board (IRB), which will run until 2019. The 2009 IRB Junior World Championship (known as the 2009 IRB Toshiba Junior World Championship for sponsorship reasons) was the second annual international rugby union competition for Under 20 national teams, this competition replaces the now defunct under 19 and under 21 world championships. Wales National Under-20 Rugby Union Team
The Wales national Under 20 rugby team is for Welsh rugby union players aged 20 or under on 1 January of the year during which they are selected. Under 20 age grade rugby came into existence, as a result of the IRB combining the Under 19 Rugby World Championship and Under 21 Rugby World Championship into a single IRB Junior World Championship tournament.
