Frankie Kimmel
Frank "Frankie" Kimmel II (born August 26, 1990) is an American professional stock car racing spotter and former driver. He is the son of 10-time ARCA Menards Series champion Frank Kimmel, and the cousin of current ARCA driver Will Kimmel. He is currently the spotter of the No. 99 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 driven by Daniel Suárez for Trackhouse Racing Team. Racing career Kimmel first started racing at the age of 8, driving mini cup cars. He also raced frequently at Salem Speedway, winning the rookie of the year titles in the street-stock division in 2007 before winning the championship in the division in 2008. Kimmel would later move up to super-stock division and won the championship in the category in 2009. Kimmel would make his ARCA Racing Series debut in 2010 driving for Wayne Hixson at Salem Speedway, finishing 29th after running only 10 laps due to a rear end failure. 2017 ARCA Racing Series
The 2017 ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards was the 65th season of the ARCA Racing Series. The season began on February 18 with the Lucas Oil 200 Driven by General Tire and ended on October 20 with the Kansas 150. Austin Theriault, driving for the Ken Schrader Racing team, won the drivers' championship on the strength of seven wins. Dalton Sargeant, winner of three races, was runner-up to Theriault. Southern National Motorsports Park
Southern National Motorsports Park (formerly Southern National Speedway and Southern National Raceway Park) is a 4/10-mile auto racing track in Lucama, North Carolina. History Southern National Motorsports Park hosted 4 NASCAR Southeast Series races between 1996 and 2002. The track also hosted 7 NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour events between 2006 and 2014. The facility had one ASA National Tour race in 1998. Between 1997 and 2014, the track also hosted 15 CARS X-1R Pro Cup Series events. 11 different drivers had won races and some of them drove in NASCAR, like Mario Gosselin, Bobby Gill, Mark McFarland, Michael Ritch, Clay Rogers and Caleb Holman. Menards 200
Various ARCA Menards Series races have been held at Toledo Speedway since 1953. Prior to 2020, these races were part of the ARCA Menards Series schedule for decades before a planned move to the ARCA Menards Series East schedule after the unification of NASCAR's East and West Series with the ARCA Menards Series, with the East race to be known as the Herr's Potato Chips 200.
