''Frankie Howerd Strikes Again'' is a British comedy television series which originally aired on ITV in 1981. Norman Chappell (31 December 1925, Lucknow, India – 21 July 1983) was an English character actor, known for numerous roles in television and film. Biography Born in India, during the British Raj Chappell appeared mainly in television series as a character actor, usually in light comedy roles. He was best known for his roles in the ''Carry On'' films and in '' The Avengers''. He often portrayed slightly pompous types of which his role in " The Gilded Cage" was a good example. Anne Lucinda Hartley Rice (born 4 October 1958), known professionally as Anneka Rice, is a Welsh-born television and radio presenter, broadcaster, journalist and painter. Early life and education Rice was born in Cowbridge, Glamorgan, Wales, and grew up in Surrey. She was educated at three independent schools: Dunrobin School and St Michael's – both at Limpsfield, Surrey – and Croydon High School. Rice adopted the name "Anneka" when she joined the British actors' union Equity, as an Annie Rice had already been registered. Hilda Lilian Fenemore (22 April 1914 – 13 April 2004) was an English actress with a prolific career in film and television from the 1940s to the 1990s. Fenemore played mainly supporting roles which were characterised in her obituary in ''The Stage'' as "friends, neighbours, mothers and passers-by"; however, her many credits meant that she fell into the category of actresses who a majority of film and TV viewers would have been unable to name, yet whose face was instantly recognisable. Jeanne Mary Mockford (15 March 1926 – 16 November 2018) was an English actress, probably best known as Senna the soothsayer in the British television 1969–70 comedy series ''Up Pompeii!''.
