Frank Osler
Frank Osler (10 February 1888 – 17 January 1935) was a Scotland international rugby union player. He played at the Scrum-half position. Rugby Union career Amateur career Osler played rugby union for Edinburgh University. At the end of the 1912-13 ''The Scottish Referee'' remarked on the Edinburgh University side's season: Edinburgh University had quite a good season, but it ought to have been much better, and there is a general feeling that F. Osler should never have been dropped from the side, while the centre three-quarters were chopped and changed too frequently. The finish was disappointing, a share of the championship being let slip by successive defeats, when weakly represented, from Edinburgh Academicals and Hawick. Provincial career Osler played in the Inter-City match on 3 December 1910 for Edinburgh District against Glasgow District. Riversdale, Western Cape
Riversdale ( af, Riversdal) is a town located on the N2 (South Africa), N2 highway between Cape Town and George, Western Cape, George on the Agulhas Coastal Plain of the southern Western Cape province of South Africa. It is an agricultural service oriented town, being a hub for shopping and other services for surrounding farming communities, smaller towns, and coastal resorts, like Witsand and Stilbaai. It is located beneath the imposing Langeberg Mountains to the north, with Sleeping Beauty Mountain overlooking the town. History The town was founded as a church on the farm, Doornkraal, and was subsequently named after Harry Rivers, the then incumbent Civil Commissioner of Swellendam. The 1910–11 Scottish Districts season is a record of all the rugby union matches for Scotland's district teams. History Edinburgh District beat Glasgow District in the Inter-City match This was the first season that the North of Scotland combined side beat the South of Scotland District side. The Provinces v Anglo-Scots was dropped from the District schedule; and there was to be no South of Scotland v London Scottish match. Instead the South lined up a match against Welsh opposition. Whites Trial Players
White is a racialized classification of people and a skin color specifier, generally used for people of European origin, although the definition can vary depending on context, nationality, and point of view. Description of populations as "White" in reference to their skin color predates this notion and is occasionally found in Greco-Roman ethnography and other ancient or medieval sources, but these societies did not have any notion of a White or pan-European race.
