Frank Noon
Frank Noon (born 25 December 1959 in London) is a British drummer who played with the bands Def Leppard and Roadhouse. Career Frank Noon was a member of the trio The Next Band before, during, and after the time he was in Def Leppard, and played on The Next Band's ''Four by Three E.P.'' Noon played on Def Leppard's '' The Def Leppard E.P.'' in 1979. Noon was never an official member of Def Leppard. Although he was asked to join permanently, he declined the offer to stay with The Next Band. He was preceded in Def Leppard by original drummer Tony Kenning and succeeded by current drummer Rick Allen. About thirteen years later, he played in the band Roadhouse with Pete Willis, who was a member of Def Leppard when Noon performed with them. He played on Roadhouse's demo, but was replaced by drummer Trevor Brewis before the recording of Roadhouse's album. Stampede (band)
Stampede are a British hard rock band formed in 1981 by songwriting partnership Reuben Archer and Laurence Archer. The band signed to Polydor Records, emerging as part of the new wave of British heavy metal scene. Stampede disbanded in 1983, and guitarist Laurence Archer went on to play with UFO, Phil Lynott's Grand Slam amongst other projects. More are a British heavy metal band who were part of the new wave of British heavy metal scene in the early 1980s. They recorded two albums and two singles, and opened the German rock festival 'Golden Summer Night' at Stuttgart and Darmstadt in August 1981, as well as the 'Monsters of Rock' festival at Donington Park one week later. Career Initially the band More was fronted by vocalist Paul Mario Day, who had sung in an early incarnation of Iron Maiden. By the time of their second album, Frank Darch and Laurie Mansworth had left, the latter going on to form the band Airrace. Di'Anno was a band featuring former Iron Maiden singer Paul Di'Anno, whom the band was named after. The band has released the albums ''Di'Anno'' and ''Live from London''. In the year 2000, the album ''Nomad'' was released under the band name of Di'Anno, with different musicians. The initial line-up featured Paul Ward on guitar, Lee Slater (ex-Minas Tirith) on guitar, Mark Venables (ex-Minas Tirith) on keyboards, Kevin Browne (ex-Minas Tirith) on bass and Mark Stewart (ex-Minas Tirith) on drums. History Wild Horses was formed in the summer of 1978 by ex-Thin Lizzy guitarist Brian Robertson (guitarist), Brian Robertson and ex-Rainbow (English band), Rainbow bassist Jimmy Bain.
