Frank Lomani (born 18 April 1996) is a Fijian rugby union player who plays for the Fijian Drua in the National Rugby Championship competition as well as the Fijian Latui in the Global Rapid Rugby competition. He also trained with the Super Rugby side Melbourne Rebels The Melbourne Rebels is an Australian professional rugby union team based in Melbourne. They made their debut in SANZAR's Super Rugby tournament in 2011. They were the first privately owned professional rugby union team in Australia, until 2017 ... during the 2018 season. His position of choice is scrum-half. He signed a two-year contract with the Melbourne Rebels for the 2020-2021 seasons. In August 2021, it was announced that Lomani would be moving to the Northern Hemisphere to play for the Northampton Saints in the English Premiership. The Fijian Drua (currently known as the Swire, Swire Shipping Fijian Drua for sponsorship reasons) is a professional rugby union team based in Fiji that competes in the Super Rugby. The team was created by the Fiji Rugby Union and launched in August 2017, shortly before the 2017 National Rugby Championship. The team previously competed in the Australian National Rugby Championship competition between 2017 and 2019, when the tournament was disbanded. On 14 April 2021, New Zealand Rugby Union confirmed the side had been granted a licence to join the Super Rugby competition. Super Rugby Trans-Tasman (known as Harvey Norman Super Rugby Trans-Tasman in Australia and Sky Super Rugby Trans-Tasman in New Zealand) was a professional men's rugby union club competition in Australia and New Zealand.
